Origin.

Owner Jennifer Eisen shares her passion for food, family and style at House 406 in Northbrook. Lovingly named after the Eisen family's Montana vacation home, the restaurant features locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, bringing a farm-to-table experience to the North Shore.

House 406 is Eisen's third culinary adventure on the North Shore including both The Roots Catering and EL Mexican Restaurant in Glenview.

Jennifer.

A Northbrook native, Jennifer acts as general manager and lead cocktail shaker at House 406. After graduating from Chicago’s top culinary school, Kendall College, Jen went on to work at Catering by Michael's before joining culinary legend Stephanie Izard. After the opening of Girl & The Goat and Little Goat, Jen focused on opening her first restaurant, EL Mexican Restaurant in Glenview and North Shore catering company The Roots.

Jen spends all of her time away from House 406 with her son, Emmet.

Eryn.

Chef Eryn Cisneros joined the House 406 team in the fall of 2021. Eryn’s passion for cooking began at a young age preparing meals from her family garden in Marengo. After attending culinary school at Elgin Community College, Eryn worked at BLVD Steakhouse, Spiaggia and Tru.

On days off, you can find Eryn visiting family or eating at her friend’s restaurants.
